Day #1 - Theme: Delicate

Cherry Blossom

A shower of pink and white,
Like twirling ballerinas,
They fall so soft and slow,
Like snow on a warm day.
The beauty is astounding
Painfully breathtaking.
How can people just walk by
Without taking a moment to see?

Why are we here?
What do we want?
Must there be
A purpose to grow?
All I know is that I don't want
The sad life of a falling
cherry-blossom
Once it's bloom is done,
And the tourists have gone away.

NaPoWriMo 2015

I have been writing poetry for a while now. But I'm not very good, or very regular. In order to become more acclimated to writing frequently, I've decided to participate in NaPoWriMo, a modification of NaNoWriMo, where participants write a Poem a Day. I thought this would be a nice challenge to participate in. 

I may not post the poems every day because I might write the poem late at night, and just fall asleep. But I will be carrying my journal with me everywhere so that I can write whenever the inspiration strikes.

I will be cross-posting my work on hitrecord.org. 

If you want to work with my work, or use it in anyway, go there. It is a great platform for collaborative works.
